William McKinley: Signed Presentation Book of His Speeches. Doubleday & McClure published this book in 1900. It is: "Speeches and Addresses of William McKinley from March 1, 1897 to May 1, 1900." Interestingly, it was owned by President McKinley himself. He has inscribed it to his Adjutant General on the blank flyleaf: " To Maj Gen H. C. Corbin with cordial regards, William McKinley Oct. 16, 1900." The 388-page book is beautifully bound in leather and marbled boards. The spine is ribbed with gilt-stamped title and three thistles, perhaps an illusion to McKinley's Scotch-Irish heritage. The marbled endpaper preceding the presentation page is missing.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
