William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody: Autograph Letter Signed "Brother" Regarding Farewell Performance in Seattle. After years of struggle and financial difficulty, W. F. Cody merged with his main competitor, "Pawnee Bill" Lillie, and formed a new enterprise ("Buffalo Bill's Wild West Combined with Pawnee Bill's Great Far East"). This business decision did little to avert the inevitable. In this one-page letter written on 6" x 8" company letterhead with "Buffalo Bill's Farewell Proclamation" printed on the interior, Cody writes to his sister from Vancouver on September 13, 1910. "...There was truly something wrong with me in Seattle. And there is something wrong with Seattle people for not a man or woman approached me with their cards or even gave me their names...not a man or woman approached me in this town [Vancouver] it was not all my fault. Besides I was sick and more nervous than usual. Talk about business we took four thousand dollars more here yesterday than the best day in Seattle. We have our prices raised here reserved seats 1.50. I don't care to have a reporter come to Tacoma. There are other towns besides Seattle. Love, Brother."

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
