    William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody: 1908 ALS with Photograph. 8.5" x 11" Autograph Letter Signed on "Buffalo Bill's Wild West" letterhead, Duluth, Minnesota, August 23, 1908. Writing to his construction manager, the noted showman says: "I am so glad its a Boy for I know you wanted a Boy. Girls are lovely but Betty & June will have a little brother. Hope Mrs. B. is well. Love to all W. F. Cody". Sold together with the original transmittal envelope addressed in Cody's hand (with loss, as shown), a mounted photo of the newly-arrived infant and his dog "Leo" and a 7" x 9" campaign "poster" for George Beck as "Democratic Candidate for Governor" of Wyoming.
