Victoriano Huerta Military Appointment Signed as President. One page of a bifolium, 11" x 16.5". Executive Palace in Mexico, February 21, 1913. Appointing Juan B. Avila a Brigadier General in the Corps of Engineers. Huerta began his military career under President Porfirio Diaz; but advanced to a high rank during Madero's revolutionary administration.
