William McKinley Signed Postmaster Appointment. Single oversized sheet, 20" x 17"; City of Washington; March 26, 1900. Partly printed document appointing Adam C. Reinoehl postmaster at Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With blind embossed seal and red ribbon.Condition: Darkly and unevenly toned, the document is mounted to cardboard. With chipping at edges, well away from any text. Red ribbon is fragile, and fragmented.
