    Description

    William McKinley Photograph Signed. A fine black and white cabinet card measuring 3.75" x 6" features a chest length portrait of the president in black coat and bow tie. The photograph has been mounted to a backing board to an overall size of 4.25" x 6.25". On the verso is found the details of McKinley's death, in pen. Some adhesive on the board, but not affecting the signature.

    With a TLS to Bessie P. Burrage, dated April 1, 1899, from McKinley's secretary returning her photograph upon which "...the President has very willingly placed his autograph..."
