Description
William Howard Taft Document Group. This lot consists of four pieces, two typed letters signed, one autograph letter signed, and one signature on a small card. The handwritten letter measures 5" x 8", and is 3 pages long. The typed letters measure 7" x 9.3", and are both signed in dark, black ink. The typed letters are written from New Haven, Connecticut. The signature card measures 3.3" x 1.5", and is also signed in dark, black ink. The lot features a nice selection of signatures from the 27th president. Taft is still the only man to hold both the office of President and that of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. All four documents are in Fine condition; all have the usual folds, and the ink still remains dark and crisp. From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
