    Description

    William Henry Harrison Manuscript Document Signed. Both sides of a single sheet, 7.5" x 5.2"; June 23, 1797. A manuscript provision return for carpenter tools issued "for the use of Capt. Demler's company". Signed "Wm H Harrison" adding his rank. The verso contains a signature acknowledging that the tools were returned. The document has been tipped into a larger sheet, leaving both sides visible, to an overall size of 9" x 7.75".

    Condition: Very gently toned, with bold ink. Small ink blot appears where Harrison has dotted the "i" in his signature. Pencil notations at bottom in an unknown hand.
