    Description

    William Henry Harrison Autograph Document Signed "William Henry Harrison" as Governor of Indiana Territory. Two pages 7.75" x 3", Vincennes [Indiana Territory], February 18, 1809. The document reads in full:

    "To the cashier of the Bank of the United States. Sir - On the 30th of June next or as soon after as you may receive my salary for the quarter ending on that day please to pay unto Michael Jones Esq. on his order one Hundred & two dollars & fifty cents & charge the same without further advice to him."

    The verso features the endorsements of Jones and two others. The document has old smoothed fold creases and some modest toning; otherwise it is in very good condition.
