    William H. Harrison Signed Indian Annuity as Aide-de-Camp. One page, 7.5" x 3.5", "H.Q. Greeneville [sic], 11th Aug. 1795." Docketed on verso "No. 255." Harrison issues an order to disperse whiskey to the Potawatomi as part of their annuity. In full: "The Company will issue for the Putawatimies [sic] thirty gills [one-fourth of a pint] of whiskey. Wm. H. Harrison, Aid [sic] de camp." Toned from matting in a previous display; several ink smudges. Tape remnants on verso.
