Warren Harding: White House Card Inscribed and Signed with Christmas Sentiment as President and Three White House Cards Signed with Initials. Included is a White House card signed in full as President measuring 3.75" x 2.5", on White House card bearing the Presidential seal. Inscribed and signed, "With wishes for a Merry Christmas, Warren G. Harding." With envelope.

Accompanied by three Presidential cards signed in initials as President with handwritten Christmas sentiment. It measures 3.75" x 2.5" and is signed "W.G.H." at the lower left corners and with handwritten Christmas sentiment in the upper borders. The card addressed "A Merry Christmas to the General," was sent on Christmas 1921 to Solicitor General, Charles W. Sawyer, Harding's controversial preferred doctor who, although not a trained physician, prescribed purgatives to the President and was present on the night Harding died in San Francisco during his cross-country tour.

Lastly is a White House reciprocal card measuring 3.75" x 2.5". Handwritten secretarial notation thanking the recipient for Holiday greetings is present, along with the original transmittal envelope.

Condition: The White House card signed in full as President is lightly soiled and smudged. The three Presidential cards and White House reciprocal card have light soiling.
