Warren G. Harding Typed Letter Signed, one page on White House stationery, 7" x 9", Washington, D.C., April 14, 1921, to Mr. G. S. Robertson, Secretary, the George washington Society, Baltimore, Maryland. It reads: "I beg to thank you for your kind letter informing me of the commendatory expressions adopted by your organization, and say that I shall sincerely hope to be worthy of the kindly opinion you have so generously expressed." The letter comes with its original mailing envelope which, curiously, is stamped "Delivery Delayed On Account of Insufficient Address". Even toning with light soiling throughout.
