Description

Warren G. Harding Typed Letter Signed on White House Letterhead. One page, 6 x 8 inches; Washington; December 10, 1921. A letter to S[amuel] H. Church, president of The Carnegie Institute, declining an invitation to their annual Founder's Day celebration. Matted and framed with a portrait of Harding and an informational plaque to the overall size of 18 ¾ x 14 ½ inches.

Condition: Letter has multiple paper clip marks along top edge and is very lightly toned. Frame exhibits light wear, with gently bumped corners. Not examined out of the frame.
