Ulysses S. Grant Document Signed "U. S. Grant" as president. One partially-printed page, 8" x 10", Washington, March 26, 1874. The eighteenth president has boldly signed this authorization for "the Secretary of State [Hamilton Fish] to affix the Seal of the United States to a Warrant for the pardon of William Harrison."
