Description
Thomas Jefferson and James Madison Partial Document Signed. On vellum, 7" x 5.25", December 9, 1806. Signed "Th. Jefferson" as President and "James Madison" as Secretary of State. Removed from a scallop top ship's passport. Matted and framed with images of Jefferson and Madison to an overall size of 30.5" x 18.5".Condition: Toning and light soiling along edges of document, one vertical fold at center. Document is housed in Mylar sleeve, and is not directly affixed to the mount. Overall very fine condition.
