Thomas Jefferson and James Madison Land Grant Signed. One page, 16.25" x 9", City of Washington; October 23, 1806. One partially printed page of vellum granting a parcel of land in Ohio Territory to "John John (in Trust for the Heirs of Thomas John)." Signed by Thomas Jefferson as President and countersigned by James Madison as Secretary of State: " Th Jefferson" and " James Madison." With a white paper seal at the lower left. Docketed on verso. COA from Edward N. Bomsey Autographs is included with this lot.

Condition: Flattened folds with toning, soiling, and minute foxing.
