    Description

    Theodore Roosevelt Signed Presidential Military Appointment. "Theodore Roosevelt". One partially-printed page, 19.5" x 15" (sight). Washington; June 29, 1905, appointing John Lee Holcombe to the rank of "Second Lieutenant in the Artillery Corps in the service of the United States". Countersigned by Roosevelt's successor as president, William Howard Taft, as Secretary of War. With a blue seal of the War Department affixed at the lower left. Attractively matted and framed under glass to an overall 28" x 24".

    Condition: Slight fading to Roosevelt's signature.
