SERENADE TO EISENHOWER AUTOGRAPHED 1952 CAMPAIGN LOBBY CARD. Autographed lobby card from the 1952 presidential campaign for the July 11, 1952 "Serenade to Eisenhower," presented under the auspices of Citizens for Eisenhower. The event was held at the Conrad Hilton Hotel, Chicago, and featured Ike and Mamie as the main speakers, with Bob Hope, Fred Waring, George Murphy, Jimmy Durante, and the Purdue University Glee Club providing entertainment and sharing the bill. Printed in red, white and blue, illustrated with a photo of Eisenhower and boldly autographed by Richard Nixon, Fred Waring, David Eisenhower, the actress and TV and radio personality Jinx Falkenburg, and her husband Tex McCrary. Jinx and Tex were instrumental in the 1952 campaign, with Tex taking credit for coining the slogan "I Like Ike." Ike’s grandson would have been a small boy at the time, so his signature may have been added later. Tape residue to the reverse and light wear, otherwise excellent condition. Dimensions nine and a half by seven and a half inches.
