Richard Nixon Check Signed "Richard Nixon." 8.25" x 3", New York; October 31, 1963. Check No. 158, a payment of $750.00 made out to Loie Grace Gaunt for "salary, per contract, Oct. 1963." Signed by Nixon in blue ink. With a small red "G.K." stamp near the signature. Stamped on verso along with deposit information. With a large red "PAID" stamp on front, dated November 1, 1963. Loie Gaunt served as Nixon's secretary, having been with him since his days in the Senate.Condition: Minor smudging to "Nixon". Light edge toning. Flattened fold.
