DescriptionRichard Nixon and Pat Nixon Signed "Nixon Library Certificate of Merit". One sheet, 9.5" x 12.5", July 19, 1990, awarded to Patrick J. Hilings and signed by the former President and his wife. Certificate is issued for "An Outstanding Role in the Dedication and Opening of the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace." Decorated with a variant of the presidential seal. Hillings was a Republican Representative from California who succeeded Nixon in Congress in 1951. In 2007, the library was taken over by the National Archives and Records Administration and renamed the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
Condition: A few spots of soiling at points on edges, else fine. Signatures are bold.
