John F. Kennedy Telephone Bill Signed "John F. Kennedy" in black ink as senator. The charges for Senator Kennedy were $118.08. One light-blue page, 7.75" x 10.25", dated July 1, 1953, through June 30, 1954, "For reimbursement for an amount expended for communications, official telegrams and long distance telephone calls, under authority of Public Law 178, 83d Congress, approved August 1, 1953." The bill is headed with "The Senate of the United States" and is addressed "To John F. Kennedy / Address United States Senate." Payment information is recorded in the upper left corner (payment occurred on August 5, 1954). Countersigned by Sergeant-at-Arms Forest A. Harness; Deputy Sergeant-at-Arms William C. McPike; and Chairman, Committee on Rules and Administration, William E. Jenner. The document is very clean. Matted and framed with a facsimile photograph of Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy during the Dallas motorcade and another facsimile photo of Jack Ruby shooting Lee Oswald.
