Description
John and Jacqueline Kennedy: Christmas Card Signed as President and First Lady [1963], shortly before leaving for Dallas in November. The printed Hallmark bifolium card features on the cover the crèche in the East Room at the White House on the front. The printed sentiment on page three reads below the gold-embossed presidential seal, "With our wishes for a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year." The couple has signed below (the president in a bold, black marker and the First Lady in blue ink). Minor mounting remnants appear on the final page, along with some light annotations. A very small pencil scribble appears to the left of the president's signature; otherwise, very clean. Also included is a color photograph of the crèche on Kodak film.Auction Info
