Jefferson Davis Document Signed as Colonel of the 1st Mississippi Riflemen. One page, 7.5" x 3.5", south Texas, May 28, 1847. It reads in full:"Invoice of Camp and Garrison Equipage turned over by Jefferson Davis, Col. Of 1st Regt. Of Mississippi Riflemen to Captain E. A. Ogden, A Qr. Master at Mouth of Rio Grande the 28th day of May 1847, vix
