    James Buchanan Signature. Small slip, 4.75" x 2.5", May 28, 1860, signed as president, with a blind embossed seal in upper left corner. On verso is the signature of Senator John Jordan Crittenden of Kentucky. Crittenden served as attorney general under Fillmore.

    Condition: Lightly toned, very fine.
