Jacqueline Kennedy Autograph Letter Signed "Jacqueline Kennedy". One page, 6.25" x 8.5", Washington, D.C.; November 14, 1960. A letter addressed to Franja Balazs, shortly before the birth of John F. Kennedy, Jr. The letter reads, in full:

"So many thanks for your lovely flowers and sweet letter - Once I've recovered from staggering from the hospital to the White House - (all painting & moving of furniture & installing new baby have to be done AFTER we're in there!) - remind me & we'll do something fantastic with the Fine Arts Committee. I do long to meet you. My very best to you". Mounted and framed along with the original transmittal envelope to the overall size of 13.75" x 21.25".

Jacqueline Kennedy gave birth to John F. Kennedy, Jr. on November 25, 1960, just two weeks after her husband won the presidential election. She gave birth via C-section, and had to spend a few weeks in hospital recovering. She was a great supporter of the arts and history, and she made it a priority as First Lady to begin a historical restoration of the White House.

Condition: Usual mail folds, else very good. Envelope has usual wear and soiling, with some tearing where letter was opened.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
