Description
Jack Ruby Sixteen Documents Signed. Fourteen contracts and agreements between performing artists and Jack Ruby; each is signed by Ruby and about one full page, Dallas, Texas, 1956-1962, concerning performances at the Sovereign Club or the Carousel Club. Also, a Western Union telegram and autograph note (Feb. 15, 1964), both signed by Ruby. Unusual display pieces, all in fine to very fine condition. From the John K. Many of the contracts are signed by the performers and include the terms of the agreements, salaries, and other conditions. The Western Union telegram is from "Bambi Deer Robin Rose" stating that she was "willing to work $150 weekly. . ." At the bottom, Ruby handwrote a reply in pencil, accepting the agreement. The ANS expresses thanks to Miss Winger. In part: "May God Bless you and your family./ Most sincerely,/ Your friend,/ Jack Ruby".
