Description

Herbert Hoover Typed Letter Signed As President, one page, 8vo (7" x 9"), on White House letterhead, Washington, D.C., March 28, 1929, to Myron T. Herrick, American Embassy, Paris, France. Hoover writes, "I have your kind letter of March 19th. I am indeed glad to have this information as it all helps in guidance of our affairs here.". Faint paperclip indentation, else excellent condition. Myron Herrick (1854-1929) was a former Ohio governor who served two terms as Ambassador to France.

Lot includes a Herbert Hoover clipped signature and a Hoover signature on a 3.5" x 2.25" card imprinted by Stanford University. All items are in near fine condition. From the collection of Henry E. Luhrs.
