    Harry Truman Signed Presentation Copy of Mr. President:The First Publication from the Personal Diaries... and Revealing Interviews of Harry S. Truman. By William Hillman. New York: Farrar, Straus and Young, [1952]. Inscribed by Harry Truman on the frontispiece photo: "Kindest regards to Miss Dawn Knoth / Harry S. Truman." Together with a transmittal letter from Matthew Connelly, secretary to the president. Connelly's letter references a second "autograph opposite page 113," which is a signature by Connelly identifying Miss Knoth as his niece. Also includes a pass to the New York Central Building and a Christmas Card, associated to Knoth.
    Condition: Book lacks dust jacket; front joint is a worn, with foxing to cloth binding and light toning throughout. Connelly's letter has rust paper clip stains that match those on front paste down of book.
