Harry S and Bess Truman: Signed Photograph 1946 Christmas Gift, 1951 and 1952 White House Gift Prints. Gelatin silver matte double-weight 8" x 10" photograph featuring the President and First Lady boarding the Douglas VC-54C aircraft, "The Sacred Cow," which was the predecessor of Air Force One. Signed by the President in blue ink and by the First Lady in black ink. The President and First Lady presented these signed photographs as their 1946 Christmas gifts to White House staff and Cabinet members. Housed in the original presentation folder with integral mat.

Accompanied by two 11" x 14" (image sizes 10.5" x 6") prints mounted to boards and featuring The Blair House, where the President and First Lady stayed while the White House was being renovated, and a view of the White House from East Garden. These prints were given as Christmas gifts to the White House staff.

Condition: Folder is toned, with paper loss at one edge, and tape remnants on the verso. The two prints have light scuffs in the borders and mounting traces on the versos.
