Bank check payable to him dated January 11, 1971 for the sum of $3.75, with notation "stationery account"; drawn on the National Capital Bank of Washington, D.C. Ford has boldly signed his name in full on the verso. The check also bears the stamped endorsement of the "U.S. Treasurer, Acct. of Stationery Room, U.S. House of Rep.".
