Description

Gerald F. Ford Typed Letter Signed on White House Letterhead. One page, 6.75" x 9", Washington, D.C.; July 17, 1975. A letter to Theodore D. DeForest, thanking him for his birthday wishes and a necktie sent. Ford writes, "Being remembered by so many friends on this special occasion certainly filled the day 'with lots of things to smile about' as your card so aptly put it. You may be sure your gift is a welcome addition to my wardrobe, and whenever I wear it I shall be reminded of your thoughtfulness." Signed, "Gerry Ford". With original transmittal envelope.

Condition: Center mail fold, envelope has a small piece of tape at top corner. Very good condition.
