    George Washington Document Signed "G:Washington". Two pages, 8.25" x 10.5", partly printed, Head-Quarters, June 7, 1783. A military discharge, in part: "By His Excellency George Washington, Esq; General and Commander in Chief of the Forces of the United States of America. These are to certify that the Bearer hereof Jno Jabwain Drummer in the Second N York Regiment, having faithfully served the United States Seven Years and 6 Months and being inlisted [sic] for the War only, is hereby discharged from the American Army." Countersigned by J[ohn] Trumbell Jr., Washington's secretary. Very good condition; light folds, some foxing, unevenly trimmed at bottom affecting witness and dischargee signatures on verso, old reinforcements on verso. Washington's signature is bold and 3.625" long.Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
