Description
Franklin D. Roosevelt Typed Letter Signed. One page, 7" x 9" (sight), Washington D.C.; November 9, 1936. Addressed to Judge Charles J. McDermott on White House stationery. It reads in full: "I just want to send you this note to tell you how interested I was in reading that nice letter you wrote me. Ever so many thanks for your kind thought of me." Matted and framed with a placard and a print of Frank O. Salisbury's portrait of Roosevelt. Overall size is 15" x 27.5". Not examined outside of the frame.Condition: Some creasing to top margin with light toning around edges. Gently rubbed with smoothed fold.
