    Description

    Franklin D. Roosevelt Typed Letter Signed One page, 8.5" x 11", Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland letterhead, November 5, 1921, to Mr. L. Etienne O'Brian, New York City. The future president, recently stricken with infantile paralysis, writes to a colleague in full: "Dear Mr. O'Brian: It is very good of you to send me the pictures of the Oyster Roast, and delightful to see the faces of so many of my friends. I am only sorry that I could not have been with you, but things are going very well, and at my present rate of progress it will not be many weeks before I am down at the office again, Very Sincerely yours". Overall light browning, worn folds as expected. Very good condition.
