    Description

    Franklin D. Roosevelt: Signed Envelope as Presidential Candidate Ex: FDR Collection. Enveloped addressed to FDR at the State Capital in Albany, postmarked from Los Angeles, on June 15, 1932, signed by the candidate in the upper left corner. A pencil inscription indicates it was part of FDR's personal stamp collection. Enclosure no longer present. Unusual application of a 5-cent stamp which was a higher denomination than typically required for letters. Some paper loss on verso from album removal.
