    Five Presidential Christmas Cards with Printed Signatures. Includes:

    Roosevelt 1945 Printed Christmas Card
    , 4" x 5.75", view of the North Front of the White House, "With Christmas Greetings and our best wishes for a Happier Nineteen Forty-five The President and Mrs. Roosevelt". This was the last Christmas card that FDR sent out; he died on April 12, 1945.

    Kennedy 1962 Christmas Card, 7" x 6", "Christmas Greetings and Best Wishes for a Happy New Year". This was the official White House Christmas card, produced by Hallmark, and featured a photograph of the White House covered in snow, with Jackie and John Jr. being pulled in an open sleigh by Caroline's pony, Macaroni. The photograph was taken by Cecil Stoughton.

    Johnson 1964 Christmas Card, 7.25" x 5.5". The card depicts a wintry scene of the White House, and Johnson's daughters playing with the two family dogs. The greeting reads, "Thank you for your holiday greeting and best wishes for happiness in the New Year". Since Eisenhower's administration, presidential Christmas cards were produced by Hallmark, but the Johnson's chose American Greetings after being contacted by the president of the company, who was an admirer of the administration. The watercolor artwork was produced by Robert H. Laessig.

    Herbert Hoover 1932 Christmas Cards, 6" x 9.75". Two photocards, one of the president and the other, of the First Lady and two police dogs. The greeting reads, "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Herbert Hoover / and from Lou Henry Hoover and Weegie and Pat 1932 - 33". This was the last year the Hoovers lived at the White House.

    Condition: Johnson and Roosevelt cards are in fine condition. Hoover cards show slight signs of silvering and edges are slightly creased or torn in places, does not affect photograph. Kennedy card has been separated the integral fold, with some adhesive ghosting at top edge.
