    ALS, "Frances Cleveland", two pages on White House stationery, 4" x 6", Washington, D.C., March 25, 1887, to Thomas Nast, asking for the great political cartoonist's autograph. With original transmittal envelope, fine condition.
    ALS, "Frances F. Cleveland", three pages on personalized White House stationery, 4" x 6", Washington, D.C., May 8, 1895, to A. L. Brown, Chicago, Illinois. A chatty girl-to-girl letter with original cover. Fine condition.
    ALS, "Frances F. Cleveland", two pages on personalized White House stationery, Washington, D.C., n.d., to a Miss Waite, with friendly content. Very fine condition.
    ALS, "Frances F. Cleveland", two pages, 4.5" x 7", New York City, March 9, 1889, to Robert Beall, ordering personalized stationery. Fine condition.

    The young and lovely Frances Cleveland (1864-1947) destroyed the bachelorhood of President Grover Cleveland in 1886 and became the darling of Washington society. From the collection of Henry E. Luhrs.
