    Eleanor Roosevelt Typed Letters (10) Signed, Addressed to Norman Cousins. Small collection of letters of correspondence between Eleanor Roosevelt and Norman Cousins, dating from April 28, 1942 to September 7, 1962. Includes nine typed letters, all measuring 6" x 7", signed by Eleanor in blue ink, on her personal letterhead with her New York address, most have routine content thanking Cousins for articles sent or invitations received. A tenth letter, on official White House letterhead (6" x 9.25") and signed "in black ink (dated April 28, 1962) concerns an article she wrote for Cousins. Accompanying these letters are four retained carbons of letters from Cousins to Mrs. Roosevelt and an image of Eleanor with a printed signature, cut from a dinner event hosted by The Advisory Council of the Democratic National Committee.     Condition: Letters range from good to fine, with usual mail folds and some light to medium toning. April 28 letter has some paper thinning at top right corner.
