Dwight D. Eisenhower Inscribed and Signed Photograph. 10.75" x 13.75" (sight), no place; no date. Features a black and white photograph of Eisenhower in military uniform with hat reflecting his five-star general rank. Inscribed at bottom margin, below the photograph: "For Major General Wilton B. Persons - / With lasting appreciation of unique & invaluable / service to the army - and with warm regard, from his friend / Dwight D. Eisenhower." Framed to an overall size of 11.75" x 14.75". Not examined outside of the frame.

Wilton Burton Persons (1896-1977) was an American major general who served in World War II and as Eisenhower's White House Chief of Staff. He received the Distinguished Service Medal in 1945.

Condition: Frame and glass are scratched in places. Photograph has slight crease along bottom right corner.
