Dwight D. Eisenhower: 1957 Typed Letter Signed. TLS, 1p., Washington, D.C., February 8, 1957, written on White House stationery to J. K. Brigstocke of the Mercantile Safe Deposit & Trust Company in Baltimore. A most unusual letter dealing with the President's investments, in part: "I direct that you retain, accumulate and invest the net income under the Indenture of Trust which I created with you today as Trustee. This direction is to continue until I direct you to the contrary." 7" x 9" with small burn mark in lower right quadrant.Auction Info
