    Dwight and Mamie Doud Eisenhower Photo Signed. A B&W photo, 7.5" x 9.5", signed by both in the wide lower margin. Dwight Eisenhower married the former Mamie Geneva Doud in Denver in 1916. Mamie was born in Iowa and moved to Colorado with her family at age seven. While visiting relatives in the San Antonio area in 1915 she met Dwight D. Eisenhower, a young second lieutenant stationed at Fort Sam Houston. On the next Valentine's Day he gave her a miniature of his West Point class ring to signify a formal engagement and they were married in her family's home on July 1st, remaining together until his death in 1969. This portrait is in fine condition and is double matted and framed to an overall size of 14.25" x 16.25". Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
