Signature, 4.5" x 3", with scorecard, 7.5" x 10", and photograph, 13.5" x 10.5", matted together to the overall size of 29.75" x 23.25". Washington, D.C.; October 10, 1925. The photograph shows Coolidge next to his wife, Grace, and Washington Senators manager, Bucky Harris.

    Coolidge was the first U.S. President to attend a World Series opener, which he first did in 1924. Coolidge, was not a great fan of the game, but attended periodically for the sake of appearances. The First Lady always attended with him and kept track of the scorecard. The 1925 Series was between the defending champions, the Washington Senators, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates would go on to win the series in seven games, having come back from a 3-1 deficit.

    Condition: Scorecard is lightly toned with foxing, signature is bold, photograph is in good condition.
