Description

Benjamin Harrison Letter Signed as President. One page, 5.25" x 8.5" (sight), Washington, D.C.; June 14, 1892. A congenial letter addressed to former Governor Frederick Robie of Maine in which President Harrison thanks him for his congratulations and friendship. It reads, in full:

"Accept my most cordial thanks for your friendly congratulations. I hope at some time to have the opportunity to tell you personally how much I appreciate your faithful and friendly efforts. You will understand how impossible it is for me to attempt to do this in writing." Signed, "Benj. Harrison."

The letter has been attractively matted and framed with a portrait of Harrison to the overall size of 13.5" x 13". Not examined outside of the frame.

Condition: Toned. Smoothed folds. Slight wear to frame.
