Andrew Jackson Land Grant Signed as President. One partially printed page of vellum, 15.25" x 9.5" (sight), "City of Washington"; January 4, 1831. A document granting "Robert Jamison Junr. of Dickens County...Lands subject to sale at Tuskaloosa [sic], Alabama containing Eighty Acres..." Certificate number 7110. Signed, "Andrew Jackson". Countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. With embossed paper and wax seal intact at lower left. It has been matted and framed to the overall size of 23.25" x17.5". Not examined outside of the frame.Condition: Very light scattered soiling. Smoothed folds.
