Description

ABRAHAM LINCOLN SIGNED, HANDWRITTEN NOTE. Small 3 ½ x 2" note, written to Secretary of the Navy, requesting that he "see and hear Senator Wilson about laborers at Navy Yards." The note was singed by fire along the lower edge as shown, eliminating part of the final "n" in Lincoln, but is still a nice example of his handwriting with an otherwise strong, bold signature. Beautifully custom-framed with a period engraving. LOA from John Reznikoff/University Archives and Spence Grad PSA/DNA. 14 x 20" as framed. (# This item may require additional shipping charges).
