Description
Abraham Lincoln Document Signed "Abraham Lincoln." One partially printed page, 17.75" x 13.25" (sight), Washington, D.C.; March 28, 1861. Lincoln nominates and appoints "Charles B. Jordan...to be Receiver of Public Moneys for the district of lands subject to sale at Forest City, Minnesota." Countersigned by Caleb B. Smith as Secretary of the Interior. The document is matted and framed with a large black and white photograph of Lincoln to measure 30.5" x 46.25" overall.Condition: With flattened folds and light toning. Spots of soiling in places. Bold and clear signature. General wear to frame.
