    Description

    Abraham Lincoln Autograph Endorsement Signed as President. One page, 3" x 3" [sight], no place; January 4, 1865. A clipped endorsement from President Lincoln which reads in full: "Let the man take the oath of Dec. 8, 1863 & be discharged." Signed and dated, "A. Lincoln / Jan. 4, 1865." The amnesty note is matted and framed with a placard and photograph of Lincoln to the overall size of 19.5" x 15.5". Not examined outside of the frame.

    Condition: Endorsement has a few light areas of smudging that does not affect legibility. Gently rubbed.
