    Interesting pamphlets concerning two important Washington landmarks--the capitol building and the Smithsonian Institution. The first tract contains recommendation by New York architect Charles Frederick Anderson for improvements and repairs to the Capitol building. The second is the text of a speech delivered by Vermont congressman George Perkins Marsh, questioning the wisdom of the U.S. government overseeing the building and operation of the Smithsonian Institution.
