    More Information:

Thomas Mifflin Land Patent Signed. One page, 20" x 10", June 29, 1796, [Pennsylvania]. Folds; lightly soiled and toned with some small holes. Thomas Mifflin (1744-1800), a member of Pennsylvania's Provincial Assembly in the early 1770s, served two terms in the Continental Congress during the American Revolution. He continued his service to Pennsylvania and the emerging nation by later serving as a delegate in the Pennsylvania General Assembly and, in 1787, the United States Constitutional Convention. After signing the U.S. Constitution in 1787, he replaced Benjamin Franklin as president of the Supreme Executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mifflin was unanimously reelected to the presidency on November 11, 1789. He presided over the committee that wrote Pennsylvania's 1790 State Constitution. That year, Mifflin was elected the last president of Pennsylvania and the first governor of the Commonwealth; he served as governor until 1799.

Thomas McKean Land Patent Signed. One page, 20" x 12", February 27, 1805, [Pennsylvania]. Lightly soiled and toned with folds and foxing. Thomas McKean (1734-1817) was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, a Continental Congressman from Delaware, the second president of the Continental Congress, chief justice of Pennsylvania, and governor of Pennsylvania from 1799 through 1808.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
