    Description

    Theodore Roosevelt Partial Typed Letter Signed with Holographic Postscript. The last page of a typed letter addressed to Dr. Alexander Lambert, 8.5" x 11" on Metropolitan magazine imprinted letterhead. Only the typed closing is of the letter is present, signed "Theodore Roosevelt" and adding a handwritten postscript, "P.S. This is a dull and trite answer to your absorbingly interesting letter; but this is a time for doers; and you are a doer and I am not - altho I tried hard enough to be one!" From the Estate of Malcolm S. Forbes.

    Condition: Three filing punch holes along left margin, with usual mail folds. Paper clip rust stains, and small chips at top left corner. Previous dealer notes at top in pencil.
